Priority upgrades for me after HQ upgrade was Vault (protect more resources), Armory (upgrade troops), Sculptor (get more statues), Landing Crafts (load more troops), Gunboat (to get more energy on attack) and then I do 2 to 3 upgrades per defense so that I'm not really rushed!  Here is my web page -  http://www.scribd.com/doc/294651339
