Benatia played just 14 times for Bayern last season as his campaign was disrupted by injuries. Juve are keen on adding him to an already formidable Brazilië Shirt kind defence which includes Italy trio Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini and Andrea Barzagli, plus Daniele Rugani. Benatia, 29, made a total of 113 appearances in Serie A with Roma and Udinese before moving to Bayern two years ago. He has won back-to-back Bundesliga titles and one DFB Pokal in Germany.
