In fact now a days most suitable photographers use tripod which can be linked to camera and also the remote control clicker so there is absolutely no interference from any motion. Excluding the not enough the full frame sensor, the 7D is an outstanding performer but for the discerning prosumer camera enthusiast will deliver great results. It would make you more stable using the camera if you would spread the legs fully first.
