I am the new one
For what it is worth, I hope I don't find yourself in Bruges, both. Starring Brendan Gleeson, Colin Farrell, and Ralph Fiennes. Directed by Martin McDonagh.
POTENTIAL SPOILER WARNING: You have been warned.
A theatre reaction can normally tell how good or dangerous a movie was, no matter what opinion I could have. The response from this movie was silence. Maybe it's the world and the films we have grown up on here, or maybe we didn't know tips on how to gauge it. There are things I liked about this movie, and issues I was not sure of.
Read my evaluate for other film right here http://soilandhealth.org/wp-includes/pages/bad_movies_of_the_1960_s___paint_your_wagon____review_by_123movies.html .
The story is about Ken (Gleeson) a professional hit-man and his new partner Ray (Farrell). After a job in killing a priest will get botched (a baby will get shot within the head) each are informed by their boss Harry (Fiennes) to get to Bruges. There Ken takes in the surroundings and does the vacationer thing while Ray tries discovering ways of getting his kicks and on the similar time, battling the inside demon of accidentally killing a child. They're to be there for two weeks until their employer decides what to do. Ray walks around and will get excited about a movie being shot there due to a) a cute girl he wants to be with and 2) the movie has a dwarf. Complications occur when Harry calls Ken and tells him to off Ray the following day. When Ken begins to undergo with killing Ray, Ray is about to commit suicide. This changes things and Harry travels to Bruges, hell-bent on killing Ray and Ken.
This film starts slow, but begins selecting up halfway via. Gleeson, Farrell, and Fiennes do well as the characters they have to play. The only real drawback I had with the film is... I appreciated it, however cannot say that I enjoyed it. There are humorous moments and I can't fault the film for having a narrative (which is a complaint I actually have on lots of movies). It's just that there was somberness as everybody walked out of the theatre. Maybe it wants a second viewing.
Reason to see this movie: it is a completely different sort of hitman "dark comedy." Reason to not see this movie: you're not into indie/overseas or considering films. Or hitman movies.
